Composting technology

Compost is the aerobically decomposed remnants of organic materials from plant and animal origins.

In the past, RES has done composting with agricultural garbage on basis of service contracts by using their own developed methods.

Given enough time, all biodegradable material will compost - somehow!

However, not all compost feedstocks can be converted into compost just by ONE standard composting technology only. This fact is often overlooked and deliberately concealed.

RES is focusing on tailor-made, safe and environmentally friendly composting practices only, ensuring that the process is really composting only (aerobically decomposition) and not initiating fermentation (anaerobic phase).

Furthermore, RES's composting systems ensure that temperatures in the clamps are high enough and constant over a defined time period to kill hazardous viruses (e.g. bird flu viruses) and bacteria which is a prerequisite to conform with EU hygenization rules and laws.

In particular for projects, where animal excrements should be converted into ultra-high grade humus with high fertilizing capacity, RES cooperates with the core technology of Schneider Humus (SH), a leading company in compost technology. In some cases, RES additional involves the R&D facilities of well know German universities, to back-up scientifically composting parameters which have not been tested before.
